Dr. Jeffrey A. Hunt
Jeffrey A. Hunt D.O., R.V.S., R.V.P.I. is extensively trained and experienced in Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). As the Medical Director of the Vein & Cosmetic Center of Tampa Bay, Dr. Hunt has long been dedicated to helping patients look and feel youthful as they age. After earning his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Hunt went on to complete his post-doctoral training at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Dr. Hunt is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. In addition to providing BioTE® Bio-Identical Hormone Pellet Therapy at the Vein & Cosmetic Center of Tampa Bay, Dr. Hunt is a Registered Vascular Specialist and highly-skilled provider of cosmetic rejuvenation treatments.
Anti-Aging and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy
During Dr. Hunt’s first seven years after residency, he developed a successful family practice in Akron, Ohio. There he saw that many of his patients who were overweight and reported low energy also had a poor diet and correlated low thyroid and hormone levels. They were aging poorly and not living the quality of life they deserved. Since medical school, Dr. Hunt believed that if doctors could maintain patients’ hormone balance at a youthful level, then there would be a strong possibility they could look and feel better throughout the aging process. However, there was not yet a safe and effective method for providing this kind of treatment.
Suzanne Sommers’ first book on anti-aging and BHRT piqued Dr. Hunt’s interest in hormone therapy once again, and he has since read numerous textbooks on the topic and attended many anti-aging conferences. Dr. Hunt is currently a provider of BioTE® Bio-Identical Hormone Pellet Therapy and finds that working in partnership with BioTE® makes it easy to implement effective treatment programs his patients. Furthermore, BioTE® is dedicated to continuing to educate its 600 associated providers and shares the latest knowledge and breakthroughs in BHRT to ensure their knowledge in the field is first-rate.

Joy Drexler, ARNP, MSN
Joy Drexler is a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with a Masters of Science in Family Health Nursing. As one of the leading members of our team at Vein & Cosmetic Center of Tampa Bay, Joy has gained over four years of experience specializing in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy.
Joy is passionate about the life-changing benefits that BHRT pellet therapy offers our patients. Education
Joy received her nursing training at University of South Florida, earning her Masters of Science in Family Health Nursing in 2010 and subsequent license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. In keeping with her dedication to continuing education, Joy regularly attends educational seminars and conferences on BHRT and anti-aging topics.
